June Harbor Crowe, Sr., age 70, widower of Linda Caudill Crowe, of Strange Street, Stanton, KY passed away Friday morning, September 14, 2012 at Clark Regional Medical Center, Winchester, KY. Born in Clark County, KY he was the son of the late Owen William and Catherine Hatton Crowe and he was a former block mason. In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by one son, James Hershel Crowe; two brothers, William and Robbie Crowe and by three sisters, Juanita Byrd, Alice Joann McPhearson and Edith Booth. Surviving relatives are two sons: June Crowe, Jr. of Clay City, KY and Gary Lee Crowe of Michigan; one stepson, Shawn Little of Stanton, KY; two daughters: Cathy Ann Little of Corbin, KY and Nellie M. Caudill of Winchester, KY; two stepdaughters: Henrietta (Floyd) Donathan of Mt. Sterling, KY and Patricia (Cesar) Mejia of Sharonville, OH; three brothers: Ricky (Ruby) Crowe of Mt. Sterling, KY, Owen Crowe of Clay City, KY and Donald Crowe of Winchester, KY; six sisters: Bonnie Townsend and Louise (Bobby) Morton both of Stanton, KY, Marie (P. J.) Hodnett of Luray, VA, Darlene Staton, Deloris Townsend and Melinda (Marty) Sizemore all of Winchester, KY; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Visitation begins at noon and funeral services officiated by Bro. Herbert Barnett will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Hearne Funeral Home Chapel, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY. Interment will follow in the Crowe Cemetery, Pilot View, Kentucky with Owen Crowe, Jr., Jordon Crowe, Chase Bailey, Justin Horn, David Jones and Nick Elkins serving as pallbearers.
