Cashlen Booth

Cashlen James Booth, age 6, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester, Kentucky. He was born in Winchester on October 25, 2017, to Josh Booth and Kristen Trent. Cashlen loved life, enjoying fishing, basketball, and baseball, his favorite sport. He also liked to swim with his friends and go down waterslides at waterparks. Cashlen loved his family; spending time with his cousins and roughhousing brought him great joy. He was such a funny and loveable kid who enjoyed playing pranks, laughing, and just having fun. Cashlen is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Katie Skidmore, and his paternal grandfather, Claudy Booth. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers: Easten Booth and Brody Booth, both of Clay City; one sister, Hensley Trent of Stanton; his maternal grandfather, Joe (Melana Townsend) Trent of Clay City; his paternal grandmother, Pamela Fultz of Mt. Sterling; five aunts: Allison (Myles Ashley) Trent, Brianna (Austin) Tharpe, MacKenzie Rogers, Tiffany Booth, and Stephanie Shelley; and two uncles: Landen (Jessica) Skidmore and Anthony Fultz.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, Kentucky. Funeral services, officiated by Bro. Anthony Molihan will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 2, 2024, at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Skidmore Cemetery in Stanton with Josh Booth, Joe Trent, Lance Trent, and Josh Ledford serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Conner Crabtree, Easten Booth, Brody Booth, Melana Townsend, Hensley Trent, Amelia Trent, Gracelynn Trent, Tucker Trent, Rowen Trent, and Blake Spivey. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hearne Funeral Home of Stanton.
