Earl Begley

Earl Charles Begley, Jr., age 83, widower of Revenna Jacobs Begley of Stanton, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 in Summerfield, Florida.  Born in Yerkes, Kentucky he was the son of the late Earl Charles Begley, Sr. and the late Frona Cornett Begley.  He attended Alice Lloyd College and graduated from the University of Kentucky with an Agriculture Degree.  He was a former member and President of United Auto Workers (UAW)  local 1537, a licensed Real Estate Broker for 40 years and a member of Stanton Masonic Lodge No. 352.  In addition to his parents and wife he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Owen Douglas Begley and James "Sonny" Begley.  Surviving are his children, Earl Charles Begley, III and his wife, Teresa of Martinez, CA and Mary Ann Begley of Ocala, FL along with his grandchild, Cody Walker Begley.  Visitation will be held at Hearne Funeral Home Inc., 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. with Masonic Rites being performed at 7:00 P.M.  Graveside services officiated by Bro. Mike Hall will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 12, 2021 at Henry Cornett Cemetery, Viper, KY. Honorary pallbearers are Tony Ball, Clarence Taulbee, Jimmy Woods, Dwain Anderson, Alvin Caudill, Ellis Buchanan, Ron Gettlefinger, Jack Rich and Harry Gross.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Cody Jacobs Scholarship Fund, at Alice Lloyd College, 100 Purpose Road, Pippa Passes, KY 41844.  Arrangements by Hearne Funeral Home, Inc.
