Helen Brush

Helen F. Brush, age 101, of Kettering, Ohio, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2024.  Helen was an Inspector for Vernay Laboratories, Inc. for 12 years and a member of North Huber Heights Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her daughters-in-law, Helen Brush & Opal Sue Brush; and grandson, Derk Brush. Helen is survived by her sons, Donald Brush of Kettering and Bill Brush of Kentucky; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Marker & Heller Funeral Home, Huber Heights Chapel, 5844 Old Troy Pike, Huber Heights, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Hearne Funeral Home, Inc., 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, Kentucky. Funeral services, officiated by Bro. Terry Frerichs will follow on Friday at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home as well. Burial will be in the Stanton Cemetery with Gary Brush, Greg Brush, Earl Johnson, Jimmy Strange, Stacy Stidham, Tommy Hill, and Chuck Hill serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are H.K. Cunningham, Mark Bowen, Paul Logan, and Jackie Rose. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to North Huber Heights Baptist Church, 6193 Taylorsville Road, Huber Heights, OH 45424, in Helen’s memory. Hearne Funeral Home has been entrusted with local arrangements.
