James Haney

James Haney, age 73, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024, at his home in Jeffersonville, Kentucky. He was born on June 24, 1950, in Grassy Creek, Kentucky, to the late Ellno Haney and the late Ruth Lawhorn Haney.  James worked as a mechanic and truck driver for Addington Brothers in Martin County. He enjoyed tinkering on old cars, especially 1953 and 1954 models. In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by one sister, Melinda Haney. James is survived by one daughter, Teresa Haney; two brothers: Robert (Brenda) Haney and Tom Haney, both of Grayson; three sisters: Mamie Haney, Charlene Haney, and Betsy (Lawrence) Jordan, all of Grayson; and two grandchildren. A private burial will be conducted at West Bend Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hearne Funeral Home of Stanton.
