Larry Bellamy

Larry James Bellamy, age 78, of Irvine, Kentucky, departed this life peacefully on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky, after a short illness. He was born in Lewis County, Kentucky, on November 9, 1945, to the late Elmer Bellamy and the late Beulah Blankenship Bellamy. Larry was a member of the Irvine First Church of God. He worked for B and C Wholesale, operated the Irvine Drive-In Theater, and retired from Enersys in Richmond. In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his sister, Iris Marlene Bellamy, and two special brothers-in-law: Jerry Birch and Roy Bunch. He is survived by a family that he loved dearly, his wife, Patricia Childers Bellamy; one son, Ricky James (Robin) Bellamy of Irvine; two granddaughters: Morgan Paige (Jonray) Wilson and Meagan Shaye Bellamy (Clayton Winter); one brother, Linville Bellamy of Clay City; three sisters: Charlotte (Albert) Lamb of Irvine, Barbara Bunch of Irvine, and Glenda Birch of Stanton; and a special nephew, Chad Wayne Birch of Clay City. A private graveside service will be held at Stonegate Cemetery in Stanton. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hearne Funeral Home of Stanton.
