Margaret Ann “Maggie” Knox, age 67, wife of Gary Knox, passed into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born in West Liberty, Kentucky, on September 13, 1957, to the late Frank Moore and the late Maxine Coldiron Moore. Maggie was a devoted member of Knowlton Church of God, where she found joy in her faith and the community around her. She cherished every moment spent with her family, particularly her son, with whom she shared a special bond filled with laughter and love. With a warm and engaging personality, Maggie had a natural ability to connect with others, making friends wherever she went. Her love for the outdoors was evident in her frequent walks, where she reveled in the beauty of nature and the tranquility it brought her. Professionally, Maggie dedicated herself to her roles at OHI America and C.M.S., where she was highly regarded for her exceptional work ethic and commitment to excellence. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother: Eugene Moore, and two nephews: Joshua Knox and James Anderson. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Dustin Lee Fraley of Somerset; one stepdaughter, Amanda (Billy) Ross of Mt. Sterling; three sisters: Nellie (Dwain) Anderson of Stanton, Carol (Linville) Knox of Clay City, and Wanda Lacy of Stanton; and three grandchildren: Kobe White, Ava White, and Raiden Ross. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. on Monday, December 2, 2024, at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, Kentucky. Funeral services, officiated by Bro. Kenny Wasson will be held at the funeral home at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. Burial will be held at Stonegate Cemetery in Stanton, with Kobe White, Darrell Fraley, Bill Ross, Alan Farmer, Roger White, and Linville Knox serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Dallas Knox, Carla Knox, Reva Wasson, Kimberly Banks, Dwain Anderson, Melvin Banks, Wanda Lacy, Patty Clemons, Carol Knox, Nellie Anderson, and Amanda Ross. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hearne Funeral Home of Stanton.
