Mariam (Mermee) Lee Crowe Todd, age 59, of Clay City, peacefully passed away on February 12, 2025, at St. Joseph Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 13, 1966, to the late Charles Eunice Crowe and Lucy Ann Crowe. Mariam is survived by her loving husband, Paul Duane Todd; her daughter, Aubrey (Ethan) Crawford; her two grandsons, Rowdy and Nash Crawford; and her two sisters, Jo and Angelyn Crowe. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who adored her. Mariam is also preceded in death by her beloved brother, Robert (Bruce) Crowe. Mariam dedicated 31 years of her life to the Powell County School System, where she served in a multitude of roles and touched the lives of countless students and colleagues. She was deeply committed to her family and friends, and her love for them was fierce and unwavering. Above all, Mariam cherished her roles as a Christian, wife, mother, and Nana. In her free time, Mariam loved working on her farm and attending car shows with her husband, Paul. The bond they shared over the past 43 years was one of deep and unshakable love. Mariam will be fondly remembered for her kind heart, generous spirit, and unwavering devotion to those she cherished. In lieu of a traditional funeral, a memorial service to honor and celebrate Mariam’s life will be held at a later date, with family and close friends. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hearne Funeral Home of Stanton.
