Mary Poole

Mary Stone Poole, age 92, of Winchester, Kentucky passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022 at Clark Regional Medical Center.  She was the daughter of the late James Franklin Stone and the late Pearl Newell Stone. Mary was a former employee of the Bluegrass Army Depot where she worked in receiving and shipping in the Supply Directorate and in COMSEC. Along with her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husbands: Ernest Patton and Billy Poole; two sons: Michael Cole Patton and William Douglas Poole; two brothers: James Franklin Stone and James Robert “Pike” Stone; and four sisters: Mattie Mae Frazier, Frances Stone McVay, Juanita Brandenburg and Pearl “Punkin” Maxey. Mary is survived by one granddaughter, Kellie Holman of Dothan, AL; and two special nephews: Michael Stone of Lexington and Gregory (Angel) Maxey of Mt. Sterling.  There are no services scheduled at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hearne Funeral Home, Inc.
