Mildred Darlene Albin Whisman, age 88, of Stanton, Kentucky, widow of the late Osa Raymond Whisman, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at her home. Born in Middletown, Ohio on March 8, 1934, she was the daughter of the late John Albin and the late Edna Sturms Albin. She was a homemaker who always had a smile on her face. She was one of the sweetest spirits and never met a stranger. She attended God’s World Outreach of Love Ministries. Mildred is survived by three sons: David Whisman of Stanton, Jack (Linda) Whisman of Mount Vernon and Michael (Rose) Whisman of Wells, TX; five daughters: Dena Whisman of Stanton, Carolyn (Kenneth) King of Owingsville, Goldie (Stanley) Allen of Middletown, OH, Kimberly Brown of Stanton and Debra (Tom) Robinson of Sand Springs, OK; two half-brothers: Franklin Albin and Wayne Albin both of Middletown, OH; one sister, Lillian (Ed) Reynolds of Middletown, OH; one half-sister, Barbara Farmer of Middletown, OH and a host of grandchildren, great- grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue in Stanton officiated by Pastor Thomas Rogers. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Whisman Cemetery on Big Andy Ridge with C.J. Brown, Kenneth Ray King, Jr., Shawn King, Charles King, Brian Whisman and Justin Mendez serving as active pallbearers. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hearne Funeral Home, Inc. of Stanton.
