Ronald Wendel Crowe, age 74, passed into the arms of Jesus on Friday, February 7, 2025, in Clay City, Kentucky. He was born on September 9, 1950, to the late Charles Jenning Crowe and the late Ida Mae Barnes Crowe. Ronald proudly graduated from Powell County High School in 1969, marking the beginning of a life dedicated to craftsmanship and faith. As the owner and operator of Crowe Painting, he enjoyed working with care and precision. Ronald was a deeply devoted Christian, passionately teaching the word of God and immersing himself in the study of the Bible. His commitment to his faith shone brightly as he seized every opportunity to be a witness for the Lord, inspiring those around him. Ronald’s unwavering love for God radiated through his joyful demeanor, evident in the kindness and warmth he extended to everyone he met. Whether engaged in lively games of pool, ping pong, or tennis, his spirit of camaraderie made each gathering special. Ronald also found solace in music, often strumming his guitar and pouring his heart into writing songs that he would joyfully sing. His life was a beautiful tapestry of faith, creativity, and genuine love for others. Ronald is survived by four sisters: Mary Helen (John) Kennon of Clay City, Jennifer Billings of Clay City, Debra (Carl) Cox of London, and Bonnie Mathis of Jacksonville, Florida. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, Kentucky. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home immediately following at 1:00 P.M. Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery in Stanton with Brian Billings, Aaron Kennon, Bo Billings, Shane Kennon, Seth Kennon, Taylor Kennon, and Jonathan Townsend serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are John Kennon and Carl Cox. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hearne Funeral Home of Stanton.
