Susan Queen

Sally Susan Queen, age 69, of Richmond, Kentucky passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023, at her home. Susan was born on April 22, 1953, in Lexington, KY to the late Dick Queen and Sally Carroll Queen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Red Queen. She loved turtles. Susan enjoyed being outside and traveling to the beach but most of all loved her two sons and her grandchildren. Susan is survived by her two sons: Nick (Christy) Rose of Stanton and Chris (Emily) Rose of Richmond; three sisters: Nina (Eddie) Rivera of Florida, Edna Brasher of Princeton and Pamela (Tim) Queen of Benton; five grandchildren: Jack Rose, Luke Rose, Ava Rose, Owen Rose and Caroline Rose and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, Kentucky from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, with the memorial service immediately following at 7:00 P.M. Honorary Pallbearers are Jack Rose, Ava Rose, Luke Rose, Owen Rose and Caroline Rose. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hearne Funeral Home, Inc. of Stanton.
