Tammy Curtis

Tammy Sue Curtis, age 61, passed away at her residence in Stanton, KY on Monday, September 7, 2020.  Born in Winchester, KY she was the daughter of Dixie Sue Bowen Curtis Hall and the late Jackie Curtis.  She was a former teacher with the Powell County Board of Education and she worked at Wal-Mart as well.  Tammy loved to read and work puzzles.  She is survived by her mother, Dixie Sue Hall of Stanton; her daughter, Ashlee Tharpe of Stanton; her sister, Mona Lisa Curtis of Elizabethtown and two grandchildren, Aubree Stepp and Aria Stepp.  Funeral services officiated by Bro. Greg Webb will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, September 11, 2020 at Hearne Funeral Home Inc, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY with visitation preceding at 11:00 A.M.  Burial will be in Stanton Cemetery with Robert Kendall, David Curtis, Kevin Stepp, Jamie Caudill, James Campbell and Andrew Caudill serving as active pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers are Donna Caudill, Debbie Ledford, Beverly Bowen and Steve Rose.  Arrangements by Hearne Funeral Home, Inc.
