Vanda Hash, age 63, wife of Ronald Hash, passed away surrounded by her family and her lifelong best friend on Saturday, August 24, 2024, in Bloomington, Indiana. She was born in McKee, Kentucky, on February 23, 1961, to the late Harvey Potter and the late Virgie Jones. Vanda was a member of Paynetown Pentecostal Church in Bloomington, Indiana. She was deeply committed to her Christian faith and found joy in witnessing the salvation of others. Vanda’s nurturing nature extended to her roles as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, where she poured her boundless love into nurturing her garden, helping others, caring for her home, and supporting numerous children who entered her life. She had also served as a dedicated teacher at Cherry Hill Christian Daycare. In addition to her parents, Vanda was preceded in death by her stepfather, Dennis Parson, and her Grandpa, Joe Maggard. In addition to her husband, she is survived by ten children: Rodney Wayne (Angela) Gault, Jarron Michael (Samantha) Ross, Morgan Brittany Ross, Benjamin Hash, Abigail Hash, Zane Hash, Micha Hash, Violet Hash, Donald Hash, and Joseph Hash; three brothers: Willis Reier, Howard Reier, and Harvey Reier; one sister: Velma Alfred; her best friend: Barbara (David) Menke of Fleming Island, Florida; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Paynetown Pentecostal Church in Bloomington, Indiana.
