Wandaline Myers

Wandaline Martin Myers, age 84, of Stanton, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at her home. Born in Mt. Sterling, KY on November 10, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Everett Martin and the late Nora Neal Martin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Shirley Myers; four brothers: Elmer Martin, Hubert Martin, Melvin Martin and Kenneth Martin and three sisters: Eunice Salchli, Callie Martin and Dorothy Conkright. Wanda loved her family, loved her church, Walnut Grove Church of God and loved going to homecoming with her family. She always had a chipper personality which led to her being very outgoing, always meeting new people and never meeting a stranger. She loved to can vegetables and sharing them with others. Wanda is survived by one son, Gary (Trina) Martin; one sister, Pauline (Chester) George of Orlando, FL; one step-grandchild, Adam Morefield and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, Kentucky from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, with the funeral service immediately following at 2:00 P.M. officiated by Bro. David Campbell with a Eulogy by Bro. Jerald Faulkner. Burial will be at Logan Cemetery in Stanton with Mike Tharp, Nathaniel Tharp, Adam Morefield, Gerald Martin, Gary Wayne Martin and Jimmy Conkright serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are the members of Walnut Grove Church of God and her nieces and nephews. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hearne Funeral Home, Inc. of Stanton.
